Deep down, a lot of us dream of going to, if not being from, Brazil. There is just something about South America in general and Brazil in particular that appeals to us. Just say "Rio" to a North American and all kinds of colorful images flash before our eyes.

The closest I have ever been to South America is looking at a hazy Colombian coast line from a ship between Panama and Aruba. But I can dream.

The father of my two youngest grandchildern is from Peru, so I hope someday to go there. But Sao Paulo is not out of the question.

We often have people on RinkWorks from Europe, and sometimes from Asia, and the Pacific, but I don't remember anybody else from Brazil.

Do they still make Volkswagens down there?
