Thanks!! That really means a lot to me. In terms of the design of the survey it was both my partner and I (a ton of school lab reports and designing for variables will work, no?).

The test itself was designed to test a number of things, more than just reflexes and the applet gathers information beyond the obvious. Such as, how many mistakes you make, verifications for results, stuff about your computer, etc.

I am not sure which background you are talking about (the test/survey or the actual programming) but I have taught myself Java over the last year to program some chemistry models for my chemistry teacher. If you like, you can see them below.
