Math makes my head hurt, but I remember hearing that a sky diver reaches a "terminal velocity" of about 120 mph in the first few hundred feet. After that he could fall for miles without gaining any more speed. His parachute, hopefully, will slow him to about 20 miles per hour before he reaches the ground.

But I still wonder how air density figures into that. I don't think sky divers jump much higher than 10,000 feet, but if they did, the low air density might reduce drag enough to allow them to fall a little faster at first.

I have no plans to test this information.

Speaking of cars, did you know that I can lift a 3000 pound car? I can do it using just the power of my muscles. Try it. Just let the air out of the tires and pump them back up with a hand pump and you lift the car a few inches.

I didn't say I wouldn't sweat.
