Much as I sympathise with your plight - and hate Microsoft as well - I don't think any of MS' stuff would be directly responsible for that. You might want to check your computer in case you have a virus or similar, because what you said definitely isn't normal.

If you have any more information on what might be causing it, let us know - we might be able to help.
