Would that be based on the "age" definition of classic, or the "worth" definition? Or some combo definition?

I'm not sure what definition Darien was thinking of, but for me, seeing all the stuff I loved back in the day on VH1 Classic kills me not because I don't think it could ever be good enough to be considered classic under the "worth" definition, but because I just can't believe it's old enough for the label. I know intellectually that 1986 was 20 years ago, but in my head, no date I can remember is ever more than about 5 years in the past. So how can anything released in 1986 possibly be so old and "outdated" as to be relegated to VH1 Classic?? That implies that I'm old and outdated too. And though I obviously realize that I *am*, having that point driven home by seeing Poison and Metallica in heavy rotation on VH1 Classic drives me frickin nuts.
