I woke up at ten minutes before five. I hate it when that happens. But I was on the Town Creek Greenway before nine. I walked my mile and a little more, went by the hardware store, and then came home and cut the grass. (Weeds?) I even trimmed a little with the weed eater and picked up the ever-present dead sticks.

30 minutes on the computer, and I will be ready for a mid-afternoon snack and maybe 40 winks. It's a nice day out there. The storms are to our east and going away, but we are getting scattered clouds and a nice breeze. It was 68 degrees at daybreak and is now in the low 70's.

I know, I know. Some unfortunate people are at work. Or in class. Others are dashing off to pay their taxes. Somewhere in Virginia they are probably dodging golfball sized hail. I hope the faults under San Francisco are not an a 100 year cycle. But around here, it's a good day.
