Okay, then, looks like you haven't given the soothsayer enough coins.

Have you picked up a coin:
...in a garden dead-end,
...where you got the leaves,
...in a forest clearing,
...as change for a diamond?

If one of these doesn't ring a bell, that's the one you need to pick up. Four coins will get you what you need.
