I seem to be reading impaired. I read that poll question to be about how long you would wait for seating. A second look reveals that it was about how long you would wait for food, but I will stick with my original answer.

Once, in a group of five, the server brought four plates of food and disappeared. Our daughter-in-law, who was the one without food, kept insisting that we go ahead and eat, but we waited until the food was in danger of getting cold. Finally, at her insistance, we started eating. Shortly after that, we spotted the waitress, flagged her down, as asked about the other entree. She seemed confused and disappeared again. After four of us had finished eating, our daughter-in-law finally got her food. The waitress just put it down, and without a word, did still another disappearing act.
