White Castle has other staunch supporters like your mother, but I am at a total loss why. My best guess is that these people don't actually like "burgers" so much as "soggy pile of onions, or perhaps tapeworms with onion flavoring." Because the actual meat part of White Castle burgers is about the lowest grade beef I've ever personally seen, and that's not even really a subjective opinion. Which is fine, because the taste of the meat is essentially undetectable amongst all those damn onions and tapeworms.
