The hills that should be covered in green during the winter have been brown for a month or so. Can you send some rain out here, please? It feels like summertime in February!

Can you send us some summertime in February?

I went to Flordia early in January and nearly froze to death. Just yesterday, I saw on TV that it was 47 at noon in Daytona Beach. Where is all of this global warming coming from? Yes, I know, that's climate change which has little to do with changing weather, but a nice day would look good about now.

We didn't get much snow here in the valley, but Mt. LeConte, which we can see on a clear day, got 41 inches of snow. Out west, that would not seem unusual, but this is Tennessee and the difference in elevation is only about 5000 feet.

I've looked at Mt. Baldy in the San Gabriels, from Ontario and I could see snow when I was basking in 80 degree temps. But what is the altitude difference there? 7000 to 8000 feet, I would guess.

Aw heck. Now I have an urge to go to California.
