Oh, no. I didn't mean they're actually pronouncing it "loose". They're still saying "lose", it's just that in the written language, "lose" and "loose" are becoming homonyms in certain circumstances, while in other (arguably MORE CORRECT) circumstances, "loose" still sounds like it normally does, and means "not tight".
