I had my first actual session of radiotherapy today, one of five every day this week. I feel OK now, but I daresay by the end of the week, I'm going to feel somewhat tired.

I have to drink at least 4 (imperial) pints of liquid a day to keep hydrated and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible and also use non-scented shampoo.

It does feel good to be getting actual cancer treatment at last, rather than reasons why other treatments aren't going to work.
