Virtually every high school and college student and teacher was in the band, along with some former students.

Man, you were lucky to even have a teacher. We had to learn from books. Well, a book. Actually, we just had one page from a book, and that was supposed to last us from kindergarden to when we got jobs. Not that us two only students complained. No, it's too easy for kids these days. Not to mention that, to get home, I had to leave straight after and walk until the night was half over - and then it would be time to turn around and start walking back.
