Actually you're quite wrong. Red Dwarf plays very well on American public television, and video sets of the series episodes are commonplace in our video stores. It has a pretty strong cult following here, mostly among tech geeks like myself. (I know the folks over at Apogee are mostly big Red Dwarf fanatics.) Personally, I never got into the show, which is moderately surprising given the amount of British comedy I do like. I probably just haven't given it a good enough chance.
