I am REALLY stuck.
What I've Done: Fed monkey, woken up dude in wagon, encountered the Indians, scared away the dog.
I think that's about it.

INVENTORY:
14 Dollars, Wood, Hat Pin, Jerky, Beer, Your Gun, Hannibal, Feather, Powder, Cabbage, Matches, Altar Cloth, Water, Playing Cards

I keep trying to buy the beans at the Caballo Creek General Store, but: "The proprietor, who serves double duty as the postmaster, is standing behind the large counter on the right, helping a young woman decide on a fabric pattern."
AAHH! Is there anything else I need to do before he'll let me buy my beans?
