See if you can't set that sphinx down in any of the rooms in Brackly Hall. I think that poem about the Sphinx mentioned it sitting on a MAT...

Oh, and have you filled up the car's gas tank yet? You're going to need to make several trips to town - and you cannot avoid that maze out back.
