1. You can't do that until after you do one of the following.
2. You won't be able to kill the rabbit before gaining access to the fortress and doing some other things.
3. (Here's where you should start.) Look for a place where you could relax and try catching some food to eat. Patience is a virtue.
4. You must have been by the store (if that's what you mean) -- it's near where you got the pole.
