Three other people have more than one party; when I did this, it was more because of what seemed like a good fit with the game than deliberately singling out individual people to represent beyond the norm.

Unfortunately, this is all too true. The attack strategy you used was, I'm sure, the one I intended to be the easiest way to win the battle, but it wasn't until I watched gremlinn finish the game that I realized just how devastating that particular attack was. Rather than fix what was essentially a bug, I figured I might as well just leave it. The battle just prior to that can be brutal enough, after all.
