Yeah, here we go again...

Alright... so, I've figured out, I think, where the Secret Area in
GOA is accessible from (That was bad grammer, but that's
neither here nor there). I'm pretty sure it's in the steeply sloping
southward shaft in the cave just outside of Llagimlyn. I've gone
down it to the tume of about a hundred clicks, and I've
examined the tunnel pretty frequently.
Here's my inventory:
19 Bronze Coins
Guard's Sword
Tinderbox
Portrait
Magnifying Glass
4 Red Gemstones
Stone of Strengthening
Torch
Clear Focus Stone
4 Black Gemstones
Food Rations
Wire Clippers
Hammer
6 Apples
Rope
Key of Opening
Map
I've read all the posts on it, and it's not helping me any. Am I
just not going far enough, or am I totally completely off in what I
think about the Secret Area? Do I need a certain item? I thought I
would need the Magnifying glass, but so far, no dice. I don't
know.
