If you're in the tower, did you read the book? I think you need to read it several times before you get what you need....
Fish where ever you get the option, and try it a couple of times...it's like fishing in real life...the game won't let you make a mistake, so if you wrecked the boat it's ok...
search the forum for Fantasy Quest and you'll find countless threads on the subject...
