I'll second that.
Usually, when it is two little punctures, side by side, I think snake. My mother got bitten while picking daisies up in West Virginia, and since she was alergic to everything in world, she went to a doctor. He said probably a small non-poisonous snake. She was over it in a few days.

If Texas is like Tennessee or Florida, it would not be out of the question to find a snake inside. I have seen them inside this house several times in the past 32 years, and once when we lived in Florida, a six-foot blacksnake visited our kitchen.

Other possibilities are bees,wasps, yellow jackets, and hornets. It could easily be two stings, and that would be no fun at all.
