POA Boosters - spoilers

Am carrying:

Leather Briefcase
Passcard (CQ60537)
Fire Extinguisher
Plastic Cup

Employment Papers
Crowbar
Pet Snacks
Round Pot

I.D. Card
Light Tube
Washcloth

I have figured that I need 4 boosters to point one way, and the other two (which have to be opposite each other) the other. Logically from what my boss said, the four should face north to get the motion of the station going, and the other two south.

My problem is that I have done every combo involving 4 North boosters and 2 opposite South boosters, and can't progress. Do I need somthing else in my inventory - I hardly have anything compared to some people who seem to be at the same stage. Or are my assumptions flawed?
