to kill ogre enter cave and swim out. u will then have what u need.
once u have taken care of ogre his weapon might help u with the wall.
those hammer and nails are just the thing to help u make a bridge across the area near the caves. my main clue to u is to go explore everywhere u can and make yourself a map

ps dont forget to climb that big tree near the beginning and look around.
