The bus was going to the east past the building you were in, so you might want to start searching the locations on the east side of campus.

For the nerds: you need to find a different route to get to the junkyard, one that doesn't take you in front of Thorius Hall. Remember that there are two ways you can enter or leave the junkyard? You'll need to use the less obvious route, but you'll need to open *that* up from another place -- remember any other places where you can climb down underground?

Another hint on that: you might want to focus on finding the bus first, because that will get Verna and Silus out of the way.
