In case Sam was wondering about the effectiveness of his elemental attack bonuses, my second party, "bateau", just lost this morning in the 4th elimination round. The bateau team was armed with only daggers doing +6 elemental damage, and the party had one for each element.

Not only that, but the bateau party reduced the latest opposing team to one guy with 15 HP. If I had planned better, bateau would have had better armour, and would be going on to the next round, probably seeded around 3rd.

The guys who beat bateau weren't feeble or anything. They were relatively strong and balanced, though only two of them had serious attack stats.

Bateau currently stands as the second highest-ranked eliminated player.

Of course, none of this will ever happen again, since Sam is making the elemental bonuses more sensible.
