you need to get the picture from the castle.
1-go to tavern and think over what the owner tells you several times(you should have already visited the gwuils and got a coin there)
2-visit the blacksmith.
3-you have to go up to the tower in the castle and lower a rope where the good food smells are.
4-climb up the rope to the window. get noisy.
