Keep trying. This is one of those things that seems to take forever, but eventually it WILL work. I forget where the quarter is tho. Next time you post about this game, please post what day it is and what time of day it is (in the game). I figured out that it was Saturday late morning/early afternoon by your inventory, but it is easier for people to give hints if they know that info. Hope I helped!
