FG1 I'm starting to think I must really suck...

I used to think I was good at these type games, but I'm obviously sadly mistaken. I can't even make good sense out of the messages already posted.
My inventory:
sack
rope
silver key
sword
diamond
hammer
nails
arrow
bow
jewel
club
ticket
I've given 1 gold coin to the seer, and she thanked me, I've been over the chasm, now I'm back where I started. Can't seem to find that Elf so that maybe I can go back to the gardens. I fed the giant rabbit, but he didn't do anything. I fed the unicorns, and they took me to the guard to whom I gave my silver coin. Once in the gardens I found something, but then I left to explore the rest of the plateu. I can't seem to find the shopkeeper everyone seems to speak about. And I'm feeling very stupid right now...would someone please help me?
