I live right here in horse show country and I've never been to a real horse show. Tennessee Walking horses are popular in Middle Tennessee down around Shelbyville and I used to live in that county. Even up here in the eastern part of the state, show horses are big. My neighbor across the street raises big, high-spirited horses called American something-or-other and our old family doctor raised Arabians. You can spot an Arabian from a long way off because of the shape of it's head. It is much slimmer from the eyes down.

I may have to go to a show some day and see what all the excitement is about.
