Fortunately, I usually arrived after the police and they had the situation under control, but blood and bodies were sometimes still there. So were the bottles and cans. Why would anybody willingly use something that had even a remote chance of causing them to act like that?

You're exactly right. We should all turn in our cars immediately. If none of us drove cars, just think how many lives we could save every year.

You've got to stop blaming alcohol or [insert item du jour here] for people's actions. Blame the person. Hold them accountable for their own actions.
