in the caves go north and after you meet 2 other characters you will run into the sage.
remeber when you first got to this world and saw that wizzard w/ the stone.use what the wizzard gives you and return to your home and take a look at the boulder west of your house. please post yor inventory next time. without it its hard to know just where you are.
