Stuck again
I have now spoken to the Sage and defeated the dragon. Have gone into the chasm but failed to get anywhere. Here's my inventory

560 Gold Coins
Stone of Strengthening
Rope
Portrait

10 Red Gemstones
Food Rations
Wire Clippers
Crate

Guard's Sword
Bucket
Key of Opening

I still need a focus stone tho and I still have no clue how to get one. Thanx in advance.
