I just realized after reading through my post that at some
point I stop talking about "regular Joes" and switch to
"average Joes." The two are used interchangably, so I guess
I got confused about which one is in question. They only
time they're not synonyms is in the case of the fictional
name "Joe Average." You'll never hear of "Joe Regular,"
probably because that name sounds like something right
out of a laxative advertisement.
