Heh. That line says a couple of things that a lot of pastors miss:

1. He didn't say, "For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing we make not drink strong enough to get drunk from", as some would have him say.

2. He didn't say, "For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, for we believe on the Christ, and wine is an abomination unto us." as others would.

But yeah, as has been stated, irresponsible drinking is not good, and using Scripture to justify it is in poor taste.
