Running around in circles away from the fire drake only to have exits cut off at every turn. Suggestions, please.

Inventory:

1 Gold Coin
13 Onions
Sack
Small Silver Coin
Silver Key
Crown of Destiny
Float Ring
Sap Tap
Bucket of Sea Water
Cross
Roc Feather
Coconut
Blue Rubber Ball
Pliers
Iron Support
Sunstone

Do I not have what I need to get past the fire drake? If I need to go get something I need to escape first. Thanks.
