Possibly it was a matter of politics at Westside, that the black community was pressuring for special recognition, in which it's kind of everyone involved's fault that this award exists (and creates another atrocious implication, that we're moving back into a segregated society); and at the same time politics prevented the school from making a seperate award for white students like they did for black ones. When confused, politics is usually the prime suspect.

Anyway, in response to the original sign of Armageddon, I have one thing to say: Where can I go to get my skin permanently colored bright green? ^_^;
