Hello :)

I'm stuck on Chapter 4 of the first story. Hoping someone will be able to give me a little hint. I've been stuck on this for 4 days now and I'm going to go bald if I keep pulling my hair out like this. I'm pretty sure the clues are in the last paragraph (could be wrong) but still, I'm lost.
