POA - "Pincers" too large????

Here is my inventory:

You're Carrying: /
/ Leather Briefcase
/ Passcard (CQ60537)
/ Pet Snacks
/ Round Pot
/ Employment Papers
/ Light Tube
/ Washcloth
/ Small Mirror
/ I.D. Card
/ Fire Extinguisher
/ Plastic Cup
/ Pearl Earring

When I try to do either of my jobs, (conduit job right now) it says the pincers are too large for me to use. Maybe its too soon for me to be doing this? Can someone guide me from here?
