I rather liked that part. I mean, Frodo thought Gandalf was dead all this time, his freaking finger's gone, the world was doomed, and everything turns out to be all right again (if not better), despite all the odds? What do you do then?

Succumb to rampant hysteria and laugh yourself silly, of course. Then you get your emotional equilibrium and you can *really* go about the business of Everything Being All Right Again (If Not Better).
