> No, the carving seems to be just a design thing. It kinda looks a little flowery.. but it doesn't seem to take any particular shape. I'm just amazed that it's help up so well for so long. It's not a deep carving and you'd think it would have worn off more than it seems to have. Then again I didn't exactly see it 100 years ago. ;-)
