I've been watching the news lately and all of the big stories seem to be reruns.

Afaganstan - Vietnam II

Iraq - Vietnam III

Korea - Vietnam, the prequel.

Michael Jackson - This is witchhunt number 5690. It will end up with so many lies on both sides nobody will ever know the truth. File under media circus.

Scott Peterson - O.J. Simpson, part two. File this under media circus too.

Medicare overhaul - Making the insurance companies rich. If you are going to apply for medicare anytime after about 2010, forget it. When old people get stabbed in the back they get billed for surgery. Nothing new about that.

100th annivesary of powered flight - Interesting, but still a rerun. I haven't seen any new footage.

40th anniversary of JFK assination. No new footage, no new theories, no new evidence, no new conclusions. Reruns like this bring the crackpots out in droves. I wonder if the flying saucers did it?

Uh ho, gotta go, time for the news.
