POA - Verna's passcard?

I've read the posts, and apparently I need to find a passcard to get into Verna's room or something, along with the Spiffy cola. I have NO idea how to do this at ALL; I don't even know where to start! I've helped the miner, and have to knock over the pillar, apparently... Inventory:
