I have a friend who is writing a book. I'm just telling this because I want to impress upon my fellow Rinkies that not all of my cohorts are ignert rednecks. Unfortunately, he is an electrical engineer who specializeds in communications devices that I can't even pronounce, so it is doubtful that I will be able to read a word of it. Still, he and I went to the same high school. He must have been listening in class instead of day dreaming like a normal teenager.

He is an unusual person in other ways. He recently rode a bicycle 50 miles all in one day, which is not easy when you are in your sixties. I recently rode one about 50 meters. That was enough. He also skiis and climbs mountains. I water skied once in 1956 and have climbed several mountains by car. Maybe I should write a book about that.
