My motto is, "Never discuss politics with friends." But I take a lot of liberties with that so I must be a . . . . . No, never mind.

My advise to Libertarians it to pick a state with a warmer climate. South Carolina would be a good choice. It's nice and warm and sandy, with great beaches, and Libertarians would be more likely to stay there. One New Hampshire winter would probably send most of them back to California or wherever they came from.

By now you are seeing the flaw in my reasoning. They tried it once before, a long time before most of the Rinkies were born. They spread all across the South acting like a real political party, grabbing headlines and raising funds. They were called Dixiecrats, for no apparent reason. It won't work this time either, if for no other reason, because of the numbers quoted. The majority still rules in this country, except in presidential elections. Hey! That's an idea! Why don't all of the Libertarians just move to the Supreme Court? They could make the Supreme Court Building the 51st state and and tell *everybody* what to think.
