Most of the confusion, I think, stemmed from the terriffic number of "is it heavier than a..." questions that it kept asking, all of which I answered "irrelevant." The "contradictions detected" field said that the AI's answer to them would have been yes, but, to my thinking, objects that are not generally subject to the gravity of a larger body don't really have any weight to speak of. Am I thinking about this the wrong way?

I would have said "yes" for all these. These questions seem to want to be answered based on how "most people" would answer them, rather than technicalities like this. This is also why I think it didn't get Howard's motor scooter right off: I think most people would call it "other," rather than a mineral, not found on farms, etc. Mostly this is because I don't know as much about motor scooters as Howard does, but how many people do?

After playing with the thing some more, I did manage to stump it a few times, but it guessed things correctly more often than not.

One particular amusing run of it was when my co-worker thought of "hair" and ran through it, and at the end it came up with "armpit hair." It's scary enough when it just gets the answer seemingly out of the blue, but for it to be even more specific is hilarious.
