I remember. I had an Incredible Hulk Big
Wheel when I was a kid. It was green with
black wheels and had Incredible Hulk decals
all over it. I loved that thing. And I did exactly
what you described--- wore out the big wheel
in the front by spinning it out. I kept riding it
though; it just had a big hole in the wheel.

Anyone seen "The Boy Who Could Fly?"
There's a bit of nostalgia in that movie for
former Big Wheelers. Fred Savage plays the
little brother of the female lead, who makes it
his goal in life to get completely around the
block on his Big Wheel without getting
stopped by the neighborhood bully and his
gang. He accomplishes it too, with the help of
a squirt gun filled with somewhat dubious
ammunition...
