The fifth "Phantasm" film has long been in the works, but the project has been in limbo for a long while. I know both Dave and I would *love* to see it happen, particularly if they get a decent budget to do the script that (Oscar winner!) Roger Avary wrote a while back. The plot? The Tall Man has taken over most of the U.S., and a special ops team led by Reg must invade The Tall Man's base of operations and set off a UNIVERSE DESTROYING BOMB inside of his home dimension. It sounds brilliant.
