Recently, on a trip to New England, I visited a museum in Lexington, Mass. where they had a display of neon signs. The signs were all lighted and most were from the middle of the 20th century or before. They are works of art that reflect an era completely different from our own. Some are originals in great condition and some are beatuifully restored.

If you are in the area, the museum is the Masonic Museum and Library near the green in downtown Lexington. There is no admission, but check first because the exhibit will be there for a limited time.
