And some of the technical stuff goes way over my head, but I still enjoy this forum more than anything else on the web. I've probably mentioned this before, but I really like to write. In my youth, reading was the big pass time, since there was no TV or computers. So, like most kids, I read a lot. But I also wrote. To me, writing was better than reading because I could control the outcome. Rinkworks is fun for me because I can write just about anything I please. People don't have to read my stuff, and that's OK. I am, after all, a few generations older than most of the people who post here. I enjoy reading the thoughts of other generations and I try to give them some insight into my "good old days."

And that's exactly why I like to read your stuff. I don't want this to sound like a "pity party" but my grandparents live in Alabama, so i get to see them maybe once or twice a year. Not only that, my only real grandfather that I was close to had a stroke before I was born causing him to lose his voice. So I guess I was deprived of those talks about the "good old days" and don't mind hearing about them now. Although my grandfather was quite a bit older than you when he died (he lived 20 years after he had his stroke, that's twice as long as most, so I'm thankful for that) it's still comming from the "mouth" of someone who lived out those days. I just really appreciate what you write.
