On a lighter note, I would say that this just
goes to show the importance of choosing a
state icon that can't be wiped out by a single
act of nature. It's not like all the buckeye trees
in Ohio are going to burn down in one
weekend. It's not likely that a massive invasion
of lawn grubs could kill all the bluegrass in
Kentucky that quickly. Georgia's supply of
peaches should last for quite some time.

South Dakota better watch out, though... Mount
Rushmore has four old men, but they could all
suffer the same fate as New Hampshire's,
one day.
